The historic winery in the Costers del Segre DO is committed to freshness and varietal expression in its new Raimat Rosado Garnacha.

Raimat (Lleida, DO Costers del Segre) presents Raimat Rosado Garnacha, his first rosé A single-varietal rosé, made with Garnacha Tinta grapes from the winery's own organically certified vineyards. With this launch, the winery expands its range of rosés and reinforces its commitment to varietal expression at a time when white and rosé wines are consolidating their prominence among consumers, who are drawn to fresher, more versatile styles adapted to different drinking occasions.

The project stems from working with grapes from our own vineyards and from a night harvest which allows the fruit's freshness to be preserved. The grapes arrive at the winery immediately, where they undergo a vinification process focused on delicacy: a very gentle extraction and the exclusive selection of the first must, considered the finest and most aromatic. Fermentation at low temperature completes a process designed to to preserve varietal expression and purity of fruit profile.

This technical approach responds to the search for a style that emphasizes precision and the identity of the Garnacha grape, prioritizing freshness as the structural axis of the wine.

According to the winemaker from Raimat, Carles Escolar, “With this rosé we take another step in our interpretation of Garnacha, seeking to express its freshest, most delicate and gastronomic side.».

In terms of sensory characteristics, Raimat Rosado Garnacha presents an attractive pale pink color with peach highlights. On the nose, it offers prominent notes of white fruit such as pear and apple, alongside fresh red fruit, like tart strawberry, and floral nuances with a background of Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, it is a fresh, balanced, and elegant wine, with lively acidity and a long, delicate finish.

This is a particularly versatile wine in gastronomy, ideal to accompany vegetables, fish, white meats, rice dishes and soft cheeses, as well as informal cuisine such as pizzas or pasta dishes, where its freshness acts as a contrasting element.
